Teresa Ritchie, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, will be honored as a recipient of the Nightingale Awards, recognizing 40 years of excellence in nursing.
Ritchie, who works at Minnie Hamilton Health System, is also an assistant professor and coordinator of the Family Nurse Practitioner program at WVU School of Nursing.
The awards gala will be held on Sept. 29 at Embassy Suites, Bridge-port, sponsored by Future of Nursing West Virginia (FONWV) action coalition.
The inaugural 40 over 40 Nightingale Awards will recognize 40 nurses who have dedicated over 40 years of exemplary nursing service in practice, education, leadership and mentoring.
