Stump Hotel is one step closer to being restored.
Those of you who have toured the building, located on Main Street, Grantsville, in the past few years have viewed the work completed on the kitchen and dining room.
The most recent projects involve the lobby and parlor, but work had to come to a standstill while a search was made for hardwood floors to finish the two rooms.
Thanks to generous donations by Larry Whited and Mike and Phyllis Smith, wood was obtained, and the floors finished.
Now that the flooring project is complete, work will continue in both areas. Trim boards have been installed around the doors, windows and floor in the lobby, and mem-bers will now turn their sights to finishing the parlor.
This week, members will be doing spring clean-ing around the museum and changing the window displays.
If you are in town, take a minute to stop by and take a peek. Family History Museum, Main St., is open each Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
