REDERICK ‘Fred’ CARL LITTLE
Frederick “Fred” Carl Little, 64, of Big Bend, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Everett and Emily Little.
Surviving are eight brothers, David Paul Little of Five Forks, Joseph “Joe” Edward Little of Big Bend, Harlan “Blackie” Martin Little and Commodor Little, both of Roane County, Harley “Whitey” Clyde Little of Annamoriah, Robert “Bub” Rex Little of Harmony, Gerald Little of Ohio and James Little of Charleston; two sisters, Hattie Little of Big Bend and May Jean Lowe of Ripley; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin Little, Melton Little, Ray Little and Gay Little.

DOUGLAS TODD CUNNINGHAM
Douglas Todd Cunningham, 50, of Grantsville, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at the Arbors of Marietta.
He was the son of Roger and Janet Sturms Cunningham. He attended Mountain State College and was active in scouting, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a 911 dispatcher for Calhoun County EMS and a police officer for the Town of Clendenin.
Surviving in addition to his parents are one daughter, Eden Jade Cunningham; two brothers, Chad Cunningham and Eric Cunningham; two grandchildren, Oliver Holbert and Riley Holbert; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clay Sturms, Jr., and Waneta Sturms of Grantsville and paternal grandparents, Trevie Cunningham and Oleta Cunningham Kelley.

RAY SMITH JARVIS
Ray Smith Jarvis, 83, of Culloden, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.
He was born at Beech, the son of the late Cecil and Goldie Jarvis. He was a 1953 graduate of Calhoun County High School and was retired from the oil and gas industry.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Jarvis and husband Bill Nichols of Spencer; three grandsons; one sister, Gladys Moore of Millwood; two nieces; and his caregiver, Loraine Kinder.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ray C. “Chuck” Jarvis, and one sister, Faye Jarvis.
Graveside service was held at Smith Cemetery, Beech.
KENNETH ‘Mike’ PUTNAM
Kenneth “Mike” Putnam, 69, of Shock, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019.
He was born in Gassaway, the son of the late Vena Putnam Clark and Marshall “Fletcher” Putnam. He was pastor of Millfork Community Church, near Rosedale. He played banjo, guitar, mandolin and bass, and produced two music albums as the lead member of the Putnam Family.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Darlene Rudd Putnam; three sons, Gary of Smithville, Ohio, John of Kenna and Charles of Greenville; one daughter, Emily of Birch River; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Caroline, Isaac, Andrew, Naomi, Austin and Roninl; and three siblings, Van Putnam of Petroleum, Dolores Putnam Wright of Rosedale and Charlotte Putnam Frame of Wellington, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Wetzel Putnam, and one sister Rachel Putnam Johnson.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Minister John Putnam officiating. Burial was in Rosedale Community Cemetery.
MICHAEL LEE TRUMAN
Michael Lee Truman, 74, of Scott Depot, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane.
He was the son of the late Denver and Sabrie Truman and was a 40-year member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 625, Charleston.
Surviving are three sisters, Cathy Beall of Spencer, Regina Francis of Hurricane and Tina Kuhn of Ripley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Marlena Truman Hicks, and one brother, Verlon L. Truman.
Services were scheduled Wednesday, 2 p.m., at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Daniel Treadway officiating, and burial in Minnora Cemetery. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 1 to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared at www.taylorfuneralhomeinc.com.
