Students Raise Money To Help PTO Sponsor Activities

Students at Arnoldsburg Elementary are helping to raise money for the PTO. Candidates for King and Queen of the 51st annual West Virginia Molasses Festival are earning votes a penny at a time. The event raises between $8,000 and $15,000 each year to benefit the PTO, and in turn, the school’s students. Candidates are, left to right, seated, pre-kindergarten students, Andrew Carpenter, Kenlie Morgan, Gabriel Cunningham, Rylee Plummer; kindergarten, Kallah Reip, Carter Thompson, Bronson Smith, Sadie McGlothlin; second row, 1st grade, Jayden McCullough, Eliana White (in pink), Kaleb Fletcher, Lakyn Bunner; 2nd grade, Camry Parsons, Sam Bailey, Dekotta Husk, Danika Starcher; third row, 3rd grade, Evan Miller, Natasha Jarvis (in blue), Duke Persinger; fourth grade, D.J.
