Janet Darlene Starcher Leek, 64, of Ripley, died Monday, July 8, 2019.
She was born in Spencer, the daughter of the late Chester D. and Alma M. Greathouse Starcher. She was an LPN and loved caring for the elderly.
Surviving are one son, Christopher Slider and wife Tammy of West Union; one daughter, Sheleena Park and husband Greg of Clarksburg; three sisters, Shirley Gainer and husband Edward and Eva Chapman and husband Robert “Butch,” all of Spencer, and Emma Walker and husband Mark of Big Bend; three grandchildren, Britney Denton, Brandon Slider and Samantha Park; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Randy Whited officiating. Burial was in Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
