She was born in New Castle, England, the daughter of the late William and Edna Athey Potts. She worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, near Grantsville.
Surviving are three children, Jason Johnson and Vickie Enoch, both of Parkesburg, and Terry Murphy of Mineral Wells; five grandchildren, Campbell Diane Johnson, Corey and Caleb Tanner, Abigale Ruble and McKi Anderson; and four great-grandchildren, Easton Anderson, Jackson Ruble, Benson Ruble and Charleigh Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy L. Murphy; second husband, Rev. William D. Johnson; one sister, Thelma O’Neal; and one brother, William Lester Potts.
Services were held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens.
